I wanted to get a utility cart for the garage but didnt want to spend $100+ on one. I found one for $64.03 shipped from Harbor Freight Tools. It is US General brand and is painted metal (supposed to withstand rust; we will see). I like that it has a locking drawer that slides smoothly and has two shelves. 2 of the 4 casters have locks. I really like the red, seeing it matched the garage :props:

It took about 45 minutes to assemble. I like to take my time when i put stuff together like this because i hate to get almost done and realize i put something on backwards, then have to take everything apart and start over. <----done that before, not fun.

You should get one, or one like it. The one AG has is plastic, which i like because it wont ever rust.

No more putting the polisher on the ground while working....right?!:bolt:

just thought i would post some pictures as well, from still in box, to being put together, and then the final product.

thanks for looking. i think the next purchase i make will be a nice steamer or a rotary.

I really like the cart. that is a whole lot more sturdy than the one I have.

Also....do you keep all your empties...it looks like you've polished off a keg, 2 bottles of makers mark and a bottle of crown....must have been some weekend

nice cart, you will like it........I have the three shelf cart and it hasnt rusted yet

Nice cart. Do you think it will hold up well? I might stoP by and check it out. I've been wanting one for a while.

it seems very sturdy.

lol, not all my empties, but for some reason i kept the markers and crown bottles up there. if u look closely there are actually 2 kegs in the garage. the fridge normally has one in it(tap handle on other side) but i have to cut back a lil:(

glad to hear they hold up

it seems sturdy and well built. i think max weight it can hold is 350 pounds. i dont think it will be seeing that weight, so i should be ok

I have one myself I bought last summer. I bought it so I could roll my tools out to my car when I was working on it. They are not too bad.

Looks good! I should of went and got this cart instead. I got the larger gray cart made out of some plastic.

Looks like a nice cart at a good price. Put a coat of wax on it to help prevent rust, and maybe some tool chest drawer liner on the trays and drawer so they don't get scratched, your tools and supplies will stay put too. Nice looking garage also.

Better get some metal polish and get those kegs polished lest your OCD certification get revoked.

lol, are u refering to me being called "anal retentive, obsessive compulsive, condescending egotistical gibberish" in my "I hate pictures of..."? lol, i better get to polishing huh?!

my thoughts exactly! i was going to put a coat of wax on it and also get those non slip liners.

Geez, how did I miss that thread? However, if the shoe fits..... :joking:

Actually, I figure everyone on this Forum is OCD to some degree or they wouldn't be here. The keg just looked to me that it was begging for some obsessive-compulsive whack job to polish it up. Ummm..... someone kinda like me! :buffing:

TL <--- recently detailed my toaster

u are right though...i just dont have the time to polish the kegs...how bout i send u the empty ones to polish and u send me full ones! great idea!:dblthumb2:

Nice cart and looks to be a good buy for the money. I have the plastic one that I purchased here at the geek. I would consider putting some sort of bumper around the edges so as to protect your car should the cart get away from you while you are detailing your car.

Very nice cart. I actually bought the 5 drawer tool cart and am very happy with it. The quality is very good and its seems your cart is of the same quality too.
