pulled into the gas station today and saw this guy cleaning his lincoln ls rims with the window squeegee.:nomore: it hurt me to see this.
 
Ouch, reminds me of the TV commercial where the guy washes his door with one to save money. I wonder if people really do that.
 
Now that same squeegee will scratch the next guys windshield. Argh!

Yes people really do that, I have seen it more times then I can remember.
 
I watched a fellow the other night wash his entire izuzu rodeo with one Of the windshield cleaners the other evening then pull out some of the blue paper towels and scrub it dry! It was quite entertaining actually because some of his buddies were standing around watching and pointing out spots he missed! I wish I spoke Spanish so I could have understood what they were saying!

what's the weight of one of those towels? does cobra make anything like it?:laughing:
 
I've watched people do this a lot. Especially in New England in the winter time. People do it all the time. I actually stopped someone last winter from doing it. Well, i said something to them that it wasn't good for their paint and all they are doing is putting swirls and scratches in their paint. It was a cocky kid and he just turned around and said "Yeah well my car will look cleaner than you truck now won't it! And it's free! So why don't you mind your own business." So I just said alright well you enjoy your scratched finish! And I walked off.

Gotta love some people. I was just trying to help the kid out and obviously he didn't want any advice!
