just ordered some rockstars (kmc) and they are black iam wondering what i can do when they are fresh off the truck, to keep them from having issues, like im guessing wax of something?? what do u guys recomend for overall protection THANKS

klasse AIO
Poorboys wheel sealant
DP wheel glaze

any of these will help protect your investment, do a good coat while theyre off the car and make it easy on yourself

I assume they are black powder coated. I would use a selant on them.

i detailed a truck with a set of those... are they the teflon coated ones???

IM not really all that sure i know they are black does anyone know the finish??

+1 on PB Wheel Sealant, I do a couple coats, hit the barrels before you put them on. Then every few weeks, I at least hit the fronts, seeing as they take most of the brake dust abuse.

treat them as you would paint and you will be fine, best thing you likely already have most of the products. A good wheel cleaner (P21S) and sealant (DP) would be the only upgrade.
