New Year's Day: What are YOUR plans?

Sounds like everyone is taking advantage of their day off!

Florida rain got the best of me, so I ended up spending half the day cleaning and organizing the garage. Had to do it sooner or later! :props:

Just relaxing and getting ready to head back to the grind tomorrow (been off since 12/24). I got all of the Xmas decorations down and getting ready for snow tomorrow night. UGH....I need to move !!!!!

Just drove through 6+ inches of lovely Michigan snow, with summer tires, so I can work 6pm to 6am... I hate working holidays, at least it's holiday pay.

Took down Christmas decorations, watched a Three Stooges marathon for awhile, DP waterless washed the wife's car, and a cup of Dunkin Donuts Red Velvet coffee.

Helped my friend get more of his engine together on his Legacy GT. Fun!

Yah, too OCD not to.

I changed the eight on the driver's side on the afternoon of the 31st; and the eight on the passenger side starting around 10:00am on the 1st. First time for me.

What a job. It takes 3 different ratchets, six or seven or eight assorted extensions, two different U-joints, etc., etc.,.....

They say it costs $200-$300 at the dealer. I can see why. Besides saving the money, I got to see each set of plugs for each cylinder.

Back in the '70s, I had a '70 Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland. They say, on the '68, '69, and '70 Mustangs with any engine over a 390, you had to undo the front motor mounts and jack the engine up to get at the plugs. Boy, those design engineers.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!:)

back to grind today too. it was a nice 12 day vacation! and i also get to deal with the storm thats rolling in. starting this afternoon. figures they always happen while at work. (3pm-11pm). with a 50 mile round trip, i am sure its going to be fun.....

We had Hopping John for lunch yesterday, fixed the gutter downspout that came loose, and took down the Christmas tree.
