Anyone going? Going on April 2nd, need to pick 1 SUV and 1 muscle sedan for my next purchase/lease which is up within a year. Use code NY13AAA if you order tickets online.

Just curious who does the details for these types of shows? Does each manufacturer hire their own detailer or is it just an employee with detail spray?

I will probably be going to see the Lincoln mkz and the new Fusion which I might consider, Last years show was cool to see all the technology upgrades availible in the next few years.

It's always such a zoo. I miss the days of the old Colisseum.

I imagine the venue provides a service for cleaning the cars, I would be surprised if you could hire your own contractor knowing how the unions work at Javits--it's probably their "cleaner" or you (exhibitor) do it yourself--like if you're Ford you can use Ford employees---as long as they aren't in another union. I could be wrong.

Yea im going this weekend, the highlight will be to check out the new 2014 volvo S60. What does the code do?

Thanx. I volunteered and assisted Shelby with the NYIA 2 yrs ago and had a blast. I just emailed my contact about who details the Shelby cars for Shelby for the show. When I volunteered we wiped down the cars with Megs Quick Detailer and a MF towel. I know alot more now then I knew then about detailing and I wouldn't have used Megs QD and those MF towels. Waiting for a reponse.

Save 2$ a ticket for adults

Sweet!

I'm hoping to go so I can gaze at the Astin Martins and Porsches.

Looking at some pics of cars introduced at the show, new Camaro has its own thread but the new CTS looks overmuscled to me, lost any understated elegance/masculinity it had, too in-your-face now. And that new Jeep Cherokee...ugliest car since the Pontiac Aztec.

I like the new CTS, but I like in-your-face cars............lol. The Jeep is beyond ugly and I agree haven't seen anything that ugly since the Aztek. They should cut production now and cut their losses.

Along with the 2013 Shelby 1000 S/C, Shelby is also releasing an "unnamed" vehicle that looks to be a Raptor.

^^^ Yeah, I'm disappointed. They could have done so much better than graphics, wheels, tires, interior, and a blower. Off-roading isn't just about going fast with horsepower and speed. What a waste of money.

I will be detailing all of Shelby Americans cars next year for the 2014 NY Auto Show. Cool!

I went, lots of new tech involved, new fusions looked nice !
