Try calling the hotel and ask about their discounts. ex: AAA, Visa , MasterCard , off season rates. I always call them and found some discounts. Just call them Meghan it doesn't hurt. All hotels in that area are 300 plus, but it's off season and maybe you find a good rate now. Thanks, but I actually settled on one tonight. Got one in the area I was looking for... now I just have to get on another one of those darn airplanes! :o

Even a five star hotel doesn't cost that much...
