Hey AGO team. Recently retired and bought a 2002 Thunderbird for a fun car. It looked great from the dealer and I want to make it look even better. I have been watching youtube videos and reading about detailing. Have begun doing a two bucket wash, got a foam cannon, and some MF mitts. Slowly building my MF towel stock and a few chemicals. Made an order for some gear from Autogeek, 5.5" pads, M105 and M205, plus some M21 to use with my PC. Got some detail spray coming, too.

My old workhorse, 2006 Tacoma, needs a makeover. Always garage kept, but Michigan winters and my poor washing skills was taking a toll on the paint. My wife's 2014 Honda CRV still looks great, but want to keep it like that. Both will get clay barred in a couple weeks. Will build my skills on the Taco.

Reading this forum has been great. We are doing a couple road trips this summer and I was wondering what to bring to keep the bugs cleaned off. Found some great tips here. Thanks!

Welcome from Grand Rapids! I hear you about the Michigan winters! I used to have a taco, wish I still did.
