Newb here! best product to keep brake dust from sticking to the wheels?

I have chrome rims on work truck I use any collinite wax.

I use wheel wax and clean regularly, also when I rotate tires every 5000 miles I clean and apply another coat, inside and out.

Klasse AIO or Poorboys Wheel Glaze, then spritz with FK146. Great combo at helping to repell dust.

Thanks for all your input. This is a great forum. Yall are very passionate about your brake dust! It looks like the best way to prevent brake dust from sticking to your wheels is to eliminate the brake dust in the first place. Until i do that, I'll look into the products that were mentioned. The Eagle One sounds interesting (and easy!). Thanks again. ElSyd

Martin, you've had good experiences with the wheel shields. Good for you. Unfortunately, I can't say the same. I installed a set on my '04 Grand Cherokee and after warping all four rotors TWICE, I ditched them. The mechanic (a good friend) said he had never seen REAR rotors warped that badly.

So for everyone reading this thread, don't just ignore your mechanic because someone on an online forum said to. Use common sense and do what you think is right. What works for one person may not work for the next.

Colin
