Hey everyone, new to this site and looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge in detailing cars! I never really took good care of my old cars but thats about to change since I just recently bought my first brand new car - 2014 Camry SE. It just looks very nice inside and out and I really want to keep it looking that way for as long as possible :D

Thanks :xyxthumbs:

Thanks Evan, that is exactly what I was looking for! Great read

Congrats on the new car, and welcome to AGO!

Any pics of your new ride? The new camry is a good looking car - they've really done a lot of good things to make it a more sporty and luxurious looking vehicle over the past 5ish years.

Hey ZMC, definitely a great looking car. I test drove the new 2013 Accord, Mazda 6, and I liked the ride of the 2014 Camry over the other two. The design, features, and the sporty ride did it for me. And here are some pictures for ya!

Looks great! I will admit, the brand new Mazda 6 is also an awesome looking car.

Just a heads up... I am assuming that black paint is the same black paint they would use on a Toyota Avalon, so with that in mind - BE CAREFUL! That is some of the softest paint I have ever had to work with (right up there with BMW Jet Black and Porsche Jet Black). The reason I mention the Avalon is that I just worked on one and it was a real challenge... http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...a-trashed-toyota-avalon-corrected-coated.html

If the dealer 'prepped' you car, I wouldn't be surprised if they left plenty of work for your to fix. Hopefully I am wrong.

Either way - looks great, congrats on the new ride :)
