Howdy All,

I am new to the forum and I am looking for advice on the correct array of products to work on our cars. I am not starting a business I just can't stand to see other people put swirls on our cars. We have two new 14's and I wanted to start the off right.

My son and I enjoy washing and waxing but as I have moved up the ladder in corp America we have less quaintly time together. With that said I would rather spend the time doing other activities with my family. I had Opti Coat Pro installed on our SUV and Modesta BC-5 installed on one of our cars.

My questions is, what detail items are we missing for washing and maintaining the coatings on these two cars?

My other question is some quick detailers say they have a wax in them. How will this affect my coatings. Why pay for the coating and then apply wax on top of it? should i stay away form these QD's and waterless washes that have a wax in the name? I want the coating to do its job.

I have included a snapshot of my current inventory of detail items.

Is there anything else I am MISSING or any product that you guys would change or not buy again? I am looking at getting some Iron X in addition to my list.

I want to thank all of you in advance. I have been reading a lot of helpful threads over the past few days!

Thanks,
JS

where do those prices come from. I use woobies and i payed a lot more than that?

The woobies were purchased on one of the 12 day sales in a 6 pack. The divided the cost by six for a unit cost. Hope that helps.

My understanding is a wax will not hinder your coating at all! It may not be needed, but it certainly won't hurt anything.

I like the organization of your stock. I have a similar system in excel.

Thanks it's in excel seems that we have very limited attachment types.

I added iron x, bug sponge, lake county wash sponge.
