Howdy from Austin. My user name is a "double entendre" that most people don't get. Its pronounced like "ostentatious", but spelled with Austin in it. In this case it means the bragadocious nature that Texans are known for. Most of this is just bullshit, but that's sort a Texas thing too.

Anyway, I'm glad to find this site.

Here's a toss up question:

I'm thinking about getting my car painted. Its a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, and the clear coat is gone.

What is a good, competitive price for a paint job these days, without any body work necessary?

Welcome. Although I currently live in Tulsa OK, my heart remain in Fort Worth TX where I lived for 22 wonderful years. Husband and I are thinking of moving back to TX, probably to Austin.

As to cost of getting your vehicle repainted, you need to just get several quotes.
