Hello everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Just like many of you, I spent years and hundreds on car products over the years. I've spent many hours hand polishing, too, probably improperly at that. Anyway, I went a little crazy and decided to upgrade my detailing shelf in the garage. So far, I have in the mail:
- 3" Griots Polisher
- 6" Griots DA
- A bunch of CCS pads from Lake Country and Griot's pads for the 3"
- Polishes, Sealants, Glaze, and wax from various makers
- New microfiber cloths and a new waffle weave (I use to use the absorber, which I still love)
- and little things like brushes, air fresheners, APC's.
I bought all these because I bought a new car, which is a Scion xB. Also to polish up my 20+ years old Mazda MX-5, which is my track car. Though I admit that I probably should've started taking detailing seriously in the years past as I do have a somewhat extensive car history. I use to own a Subaru WRX STi, numerous Acura Integras, Civics, and other cars along the way.
Anyway, enough rambling from me. This looks like a great place to learn, which is why I'm here.
See you guys around!
