Hello everyone! I just joined this forum and felt that it would be nice to introduce myself. Perusing some of these posts I can tell there is a wealth of information and a lot of experienced individuals on here. I just wanted to take a minute to commend those who are willing to share their experiences, trials & tribulations. It's nice to be able to search through forum posts to see how people have provided tips, hints, and walkthroughs on how to complete a certain task. This greatly helps people like me (an average jo who has a compassion for cars/trucks, etc) finish the job in a timely manner!

Just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone on here!

Thanks,
Bill

All, many thanks for the warm welcome.

I'm from the grand area of Punxsuatwney, you know the dumb groundhog that predicts the winter/spring season.

I now live around the Harrisburg/York/Lancaster area.

Trumbo, you from PA?

Yes sir buddy.

Lived in cities such as Hermitage, Greensburg, Monroeville (Turtle Creek), and currently my parent are in Erie.

Went to school at Clarion.

Me too, I am in the Etters, Lewisberry area just south of the turnpike on I-83. Welcome to the site and feel free to post or PM with any questions. We all help each other out here and it's a friendly site too. :welcome:

Hi there 99fan, welcome to the site. My dog "Jack" has become somewhat famous in the detailing world as she's been in my avitar picture since my first visit to any of these detailing discussion forums. Jack and I have traveled all the way up to Portland Maine on detailing trips as well as New york, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Jack originally hails from a little village near Altoona called Warrior's Mark. She was tied to a tree on a farm in Warrior's Mark and was rescued from a certain doom as the guy who had her and her sister (Lady) was threatening to do the unthinkable to get rid of the two dogs. I took Jack on her maiden voyage back to Harrisburg that day at the young age of 5 months old. I also found a home for her sister here in the Harrisburg area.

Jack is now a spoiled 14 year old veteran detailing partner. Just a bit of info, trivial to most but important to me. Again Welcome to the site.:welcome:

Welcome. I'm in the area too - Carlisle. Us local boys will have to get together some time.

I lived in Carlisle for 3 years, My mother still lives there. I am over there usually once a week. I've been wanting to get a little PA detailing weekend going on somewhere locally.

Once the weather gets nice we'll have to get together. I just got into detailing so maybe you can gimme some tips. Got the PC7424XP, some DP stuff, need to get pads, polishes and sealant. I'm gonna be ready for spring! By any chance do you play golf?

No I don't play any golf but I did go out to Liberty Forge and wail a few buckets of balls with my Dad one time. The balls were pretty much hitting what I was aiming for. (the yardage markers, not the guy on the tractor) I have a customer on Kitzell Dr. at MayApple golf course too.

Whenever you want to or when you're ready send me a PM, I'd be glad to spend some time showing you the ropes of detailing.:xyxthumbs:
