Hello All! Reporting from the smallest state of them all. I'm fairly new into the detailing world and have lots to Learn. I've been watching a bulk of Mike Phillips videos and learning a great load from his articles online and reading throughout the different topic and question posted here on the forum. So far I'm learning a great lot and am eager for the cold weather to be over with so I can put this knowledge to practice.
I recently bought a new 2014 Toyota Venza and yes it is black, and boy is black a tough one to maintain. I actually enjoy cleaning my car prior to the venza I had a scion TC which would take me half the time to clean it inside out than the me Venza. Since purchase I have watch the venza three time and I spent more than five hours doing so (i really don't mind spending the time, I actually enjoy detailing my car) but hand application is quite the process when you have a lot of car to go through.
I need some help on developing my detail inventory, I would typically buy my supply from walmart or a local auto shop which have limited supplies, so boy was I taken by a left hook when I saw the quality products that AG has to offer. My first step on building my supplies is to get the biggest item out the list first, an electric polisher. I've done my research and really like the Rupes polisher. I'm debating between the Bigfoot 15es and the new Duetto. I feel like the 15es will cover more of the car and make the prices quicker the the Duetto, but the Duetto is easier to navigate through tighter areas...has anyone experience both units? Can you please give me some feedback on them. I'm really torn on which one to get... It's a decent investment and I want to make sure the right decision is made.
