Newbie From Rhode Island

Venza;1069863 I recently bought a new 2014 Toyota Venza and yes it is black said:
I too just bought a black 2014 Venza and stumbled across this site for help on maintaining it, minimizing swirls, washing ect as my current regiment on light cars wasn't going to cut it. Although after reading all of these how to thread, I will be implementing some changes there too.

After last night I think I need to get a new buffer such as the porter cable. I have a high speed buffer and an orbital buffer but looks like one with a control speed like the porter cable is the way to go.

Just saw your thread and wanted to shout out to another Venza owner.

Another new guy from RI here. I'm in Coventry

Hitman, you're YR/nets Ian, right?

Cheers,
Andrew

Congrats on the new Venza! What model did you ended up going with? I have an LE AWD V6 myself.

I would highly recommend menzernas FG 4000 or FG 4500 to remove light swirls. I used the 4500 about a two month ago and was stunt at the results!

A DA polisher definitely makes the polishing process a lot easier. I have read a lot of good things on the porter cable but have not had he pleasure if using it. I own a Rupes 21 and love it! Specially on the Venza wide panels.

Let me know if you have any question, am more ths willing to help a fellow Venza owner;)

Good luck with the new toy and welcome to AGO!

Welcome all Ocean Staters! Boy, for the smallest state you guys sure do reresent in numbers!

I also have my eye on a Rupes and will get either one. Don't think you'd go wrong either way, Venza! If budget is paramount just get the least expensive one from AG. You'll be happy with it i am sure.
