I just wanted to say hello from Canada. I decided to treat myself this past Christmas and get myself a Meguiars DA microfiber kit. I am so tired of polishing by hand. I am a little nervous but after the many hours of videos that are on your site, I feel confident that this system is very easy to use.
All I need is for the snow to melt and I can jump right into it.

No matter what you're working on. No matter what you're working with, remember to start by doing some testing or as I call it... do a Test Spot.

How To Do a Test Spot

So important...

I do a test spot on EVERY project I work on if I've never worked on it before. I started writing on the Internet about doing a test spot back in around 1993 (that's 21 years), and I'm happy to see it's good advice that is continued to be passed on all over the Internet.

Doing a test spot, that is testing out the pads, products, tools and your technique to one small area BEFORE buffing out the entire car will show you if you're going to get GREAT results or if you need to pause and try something else.

Welcome here Jeremy. What part of Canada are you located in?
I am in New Brunswick on the east coast. I guess winter isn't done with us just yet. They are calling for 12"+ Wednesday and another 6" on Saturday and another 6" on Sunday.
I will be some glad when this is all done.

Wow, no good. I'm in Manitoba and we've had a hellish winter, no need for more snow anywhere in Canada I don't think.

Except BC, they can have all of our snow, haha.
