quick question :



Car has factory paint ,2 years and a half old , has never been polished and its covered with swirls and contaminations.

Do the clear will even and loose the peel look after being fully corrected with all the polishing steps or it needs something like the carpro denim pads to give a clear reflection? ( like in this thread http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...denim-orange-peel-removal-pad-tested-wow.html )

I know its not much but i dont like that kind of reflection , although most new cars i see has this type of grain

Compounding/Polishing will not really make the orange peel look all that much better, barely if anything. I wouldnt worry to much about it though, since factory clear coats are so thin these days, trying to get rid of the orange peel might end up leaving you with a very low amount of CC, which isnt worth it in the end.

I concur. That is orange peel and I wouldn't sand it if it is a daily driver since I'd rather have the film than a mirror finish on a car that's not going to be shown at Pebble Beach. You can definitely improve the finish with a little judicial polishing and have some nice looking paint. With proper wash technique and care, you won't have to polish very often at all. This is the perfect place to learn how to do all of that.

The orange peel will be tough to remove and probably isn't worth it. My Jeep has it pretty bad and I've just gotten used to it.
