newbie...with a quick question

Just wanted to say "hey" and how glad I am that I found this site.
I have a question about the inline hose filter kits. I'm trying to decide
b/w the "total filter kit" and the "deluxe filter system". It seems that
the total filter kit has the same filters as the deluxe, but are just in
one tube instead of two separate tubes. Is this true? If so, will the
total filter kit suffice?

I have no experience with the inline filters, but I'm guessing that each canister can only hold one filter. That's just my guess

I think the two canister kit can pull out more minerals and contaminents as well as soften water.
