Good job and love your truck. That hood was only used two model years and was known internally at GM as the "Wow Now" hood. Was made in Marion, In. Would like to have one someday.
That is correct. They do finish great and they keep that PC spinning. I have to admit though Yale, I should have gotten the GG instead. Main reason is the handle is on the top not the side. I started using the pc with the side handle and quickly hated it and just put my hand on top of the unit instead. Much nicer that way.
Eventually I can see a flex in my future !
I took the handle off my old PC and my GG, they just get in the way.
All that chrome on the front Chevy bumpers are plastic
This is my "hot rod":
Do you have a flex Yale ? Just curious if ya have one or used one before. Didnt know if they were the cats meow or not. I tell ya my PC worked wonders so i am happy ! Those liars over at Adams forums saying a PC didnt have the power to correct black, get a Flex.
I have a Flex PE 14 rotary I'm learning to use but not a 3401
I will say my next order of pads with be i think the smart pads. The thicker one with the dimples. Those are CCs pads ...I say not, they are my least favorite of all the pads. Go with the regular flat pads first if you don't want the Ht pads Just seem more durable than the flat pads though i admit they do keep that PC spinning. Ah what to do what to do. Still have to send Nick a message about those Red Pads.
Ive had my eye on that nice Boars Hair wash brush with handle. Would be nice with my truck rather than the washmitt.
I have one and do not like it! You gotta soak it for at least 30 minutes before you use it or it scratches, at least that's my experience.
No way !! They really are Plastic ? Why on earth would they get away from the real chrome. Wow..Cheap, save them a couple bucks to put in their pocket..
That's one sweet ride!!This is my "hot rod":
