Hello Everyone! Thank you for the welcome.
I wish my first post was something good but unfortunately it will not be.
I have always been satisfied with all the products I have ordered from Auto Geek until now. There has to be a first time for everything.
The product is the Metropolitan 12 volt stainless steel vacuum. I literally can produce more suction power with my lungs through the hose. Also the motor is rubbing against the casing. I hope it is as easy to return things as it is to order things.
Does anyone know of a good 12volt vacuum for my 2005 Toyota Taco, crew cab, 4wd, long bed that operates off the lighter socket?Feed back please
 
Welcome, I was just at auto zone and noticed a vaccum that plugs in the auto lighter. Didn't bother to pick it up and read more about it. But I glanced at the price I believe it was $10 not sure. Doesn't hurt to check it out to see is something you would buy to try, you can always return it.

I wouldn't expect much suction from a vacuum running off the cigarette lighter in your car. If you can look into one that operates off a normal 120v house hold outlet you will be much more impressed.
 
Welcome, and just curious. Doesn't your Taco have a normal size outlet in the back of the bed? Could you use that by chance?
 
welcome if you look at my pics on the astro van setup i have a vaccum you may like i mounted it to my astro van its pretty cool wet/dry vac blower also i use it for tires and crevices til i get a stronger blower to blow the water off the car more efficiently
 
No. My Taco did not come with the 110 receptacle in the back. Only the lighter plugs inside the cab. In hindsight I wish I had ordered it with the 110 receptacle in the bed.
Thanks guys at least I know now that there isn't a 12volt motor that can create enough vacuum for a truck. I thought when looking at the metro stainless 12 volt price that any company going to trouble of making a stainless housing and also judging by the price that they had made a motor that created enough vacuum. But it ended up being defective anyway. The motor rubs against the stainless housing.

hello all,
i'm bob and have just recently jumped into the detailing products business. my brother helped to invent the Autoscrub. he has been in the wholesale business for 15 yrs. building his company from the ground up, become the largest distibutor of everything car/paint care on long island. he has given me the chance to represent his personal product in Fl. would love to get tips and info about the different products and techniques so i can learn as much as i can about the indusrty. thank you for making me a part of your community.
