Hi everyone! I was a happy camper and enjoying spiffing up my ride and was intrigued by the Brinkmann Xenon spotlight. Oh No! I just can't believe the work that I have ahead of me. My SC430 looks good at a distance but not up close. It's a black 2006 that has seen many maxi-scratch car washes. I only intend to take the car out of the garage when I can put the top down so once I get it into shape I hope to keep it that way! I have a lot of reading to do and I'll be seeking lots of advice and support from the many knowledgeable car buffs (pun) on this forum. Here's my project:

Welcome to AGO! The Brinkmann is a very valuable tool. While it may get your hopes up at first, once your work is complete, the end result will look fantastic, especially with black. Take your time and good luck!!

Welcome from another Black car owner. You defintely have your work cut ot for you. But it is lots of fun and very rewarding when completed.

Beautiful car and welcome to AG.

Nice car, welcome aboard, enjoy the detailing ahead. I find detailing relaxing.:pc7424:

I just recently purchased the same light and I am so glad I did. It ever further reassured me that the polish process I am using is working at it's potential. I still have ways to go, but the streak free, swirl free, 95% imperfection free paint that I keep on my cars are able to stay that way with the help of this invaluable tool.

Unfortunately I've had the opposite experience. I thought that I'd polished my car reasonably well and that's when I bought the brinkmann. Now I get to start all over; And I've got a lot to learn! My very next purchase will be more lights. In one garage bay I'll replace two simple bulbs with fluorescent panels and buy a halogen stand that I can move around. The halogens will be welcome friends this winter.
