Dave just contacted me and there is a SNAFU with him after updating his email address so he is currently off line

He can read posts but he can't log on and respond

He is waiting on the mods to fix things at their end

As I stated in the What I did non detailing today... thread this if from BigDave who is still off line waiting to hear back from the moderators

"I do feel the need to tell someone what I've been doing, so here goes, I haven't done any detailing, it's either been to hot or raining. I made a custom phone mount for Mum's car, so I have somewhere to put my phone when I'm driving it, I can't stand phone mounts that stick to the windshield, they leave a mark and cook your phone on hot days. I went over my nephew's this morning to feed their kitten, they stayed in Sydney overnight after going to Monster Jam, the boys love their monster trucks, and now I have holes in my hands because the kitten has needles and likes to play rough. I mowed the lawn again today, and I'm currently watching the Bathurst 1000, Mustangs and Chevys, but in a couple of years they'll have V8 Toyota Supras, yee haa. I did enjoy the "taunting" in Big Dave thread, I had some good responses, but too late now. I also enjoyed the Hyundai/Tesla biff, my typing finger was twitching."

I am also going to start a new thread asking the mods to get with the program and get Dave hooked up and what I need you guys to do is REPORT the thread and when it asks for a reason put something like "Please read the thread and help BigDave get back on line" or words to that effect

I have reported a number of SPAM posts since the new system went on line, although I have no idea if a human is seeing them

Makes me angry how the mods can't find their way out of a paper bag, and help Dave.

I did see a very disturbing spam forum and reported it i can't put down the actual words but it was child related. 😡😡😡

I say this jokingly, but lets hope that’s not the case with Dave, as it could take a turn for the worst .. Imagine Big Dave hitting rock bottom due to losing contact with the detailing world and slipping into a dark depression where he lives a life where he no longer washes his car and lets himself go… All because of this little mishap. Lol. J/k

Hey Michael,

I managed to get some detailing done today, I wonder if you could post this up when you get a chance, many thanks for your help.

The FJ was going in for its annual inspection today, even with the rain predicted all week I decided to give it a wash, so I pulled it inside and gave it a RW with Ech2o, but only on the paint, I didn't bother with the trim. I did all the glass with Carpro Clarify Phobic, and the wheels with Bowden's Boss Gloss. And it passed the inspection with zero issues, 13 years since it was first registered and it's just ticked over 226,000 km.

And a big thank you to everyone trying to get me back in.
