Nica..you scored

between the 300000000 lumens produced by his flourescent sun in his garage and these new lights I give nica's cornea a good 45 minutes until total meltdown.

Just located a Tuesday Morning 10 mins from me... going tomorrow in the AM to see if they have this... If not, someone better ship me one as well :D

This is very coincidental. I took one of these up to Autogeek today to show Jason. I've ben using one for about a year. For anyone who has not used one, you don't look at the illumination, or light it throws off, you hold it up in the air and away from you, pointed it down at the surface at an angle, then look at the surface to find the reflection of the bulbs, just like you were trying to find the sun. Use your thumb to trigger the light--in other words, hold it the opposite way than you would if you were trying to shine it to show the way on a path--like holding a gun backwards.

Some people think they are useless until they learn the way to use them.

This is a good tip...um...got any other tips? Reason I ask is becuase I tried using just a regular light and I had a hard time finding the imperfections.

AUdakota - Oh I got special shades just for the garage

sneek - are you saying that Canadian Tire has Xenon lights like the Brinkman? Really...the one's I saw where called Noman..or something like that and they were not Xenon.

The Tuesday Morning near my house had about 15 of them left when I ran in the other day. Love this light!

Yes. They even look the same. I played with 2 of them at Meg's HQ about a year ago, and they are are the same. The Blue Streak had 2 xenons and then a one bulb setting. I think the Brinkman is the same way accept it comes in a grey case. The thing I hate about these things is the battery. Supposedly it is really bad for the battery if you "overcharge" them.

the only pic i have of it is with it running out of battery. I will get a pic of it later

Yes, that's how my Brinkmann looks like... I'm going to Tuesday Morning in 20 mins, wish me luck in finding this guys

BTW: Nica, if you need one before that one arrives fee free to shoot me a PM or give me a ring. I won't be using mine..as i have 28 Hours worth of exams left :|

Well I'll be a monkeys uncle...it looks like the Xenon lights..mmm...very interesting though becuase I have not been able to find those lights at Canadian Tire (I usually go to the one at Country Hills). Thanks for the offer sneek, I'll let you know if I need it..most likely not because the vehicles are being dropped off at my house and they will take the beater. Thanks though.

As a matter of fact, I do--don't drop it on the car. Or at least don't drop it on your car.

No luck at my local Tuesday Morning store... anyone want to ship me a brinkmann ? :(
