I've admired Nick's car for awhile now, always thought it looked great but pictures don't always do cars justice, and in his case wow it looked great in person, you can clearly see the time and effort he's put into perfecting the finish on this vehicle as well as every other aspect, show car clean!
Here are just some pictures I snapped of his ride, I'm sure he has even better ones to add!

I also featured it on my page here

Thanks for the recognition Drew, it was nice finally meeting you and putting a face to a name at the show this past weekend. Your car was looking great there as well and I am liking what you did with the GT, hopefully you will be in a cobra soon!

As for the time spent getting the car ready, it was probably well over 50+ hours. Most of the work was other mods being done to the car, not the actual detail. I am going to be making a thread on everything I did and the cars transformation when I get some down time. For this thread I will just comment on what all was done to the car.

The car was washed and the paint was cleansed/cleared. I then clayed the car with the Fine Grade Nanoskin Auto-scrubber. Then masked trim/emblems and examined paint. I did a test spot on the passenger side door and found I could achieve a flawless finish with Menzerna SF4500. I also did some spot compounding with M101 on certain areas where heavier cut was needed. After the paint was corrected I applied a layer of Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant with a foam applicator and let it cross-link on the paint for 1 hour. Next, I topped that with SON1C ProtoWax 38 with a foam applicator, working one panel at a time and removing until each panel was topped. The results were stunning and the wax really was a pleasure to work with. It had a great smell to it and was easy on/off when applying to cool/dry paint. Not only can you see the extreme depth in the paint this wax leaves but it has surprisingly good durability for a wax of its kind (2-3 months). Topped over a quality sealant and you have incredible shine mixed with long lasting protection.

Here are some shots (NOT EDITED) of the progress of the detail as well as some shots at the show. Any questions on different products used/process let me know:

I see the Jersey plate on his car--where was that show?

The show the 5th Annual American Muscle Show in Media, PA. Big charity event as I believe all the show proceeds are given to a different charity each year.
