This past weekend I worked on my buddy's car.
Paint was very bad!!! Car was taken through the drive-thru car wash a couple times in its day. He only wanted to do a 1 step for time and money reasons so I think I got pretty good results with the time I had to work with.
I got a good laugh out of my test spot.
So I tape off my test spot, polish it up with the D300, turn my light on... as I stare at my test spot. Bring my GF over to have her stare at it with me too.... I say "for some reason it has a blue hue to it" "I think I did something wrong!!". Go to take a picture of the test spot to ask a friend if he's seen anything like it. My flash reveals the car has blue sparkle in it.
rops: I thought it was jet black because the swirls were so bad you couldn't even see the sparkle.
Products used:
Meg's Gold Class wash
2 bucket w/grit gaurd
LC grout sponge
Meg's clay kit
D300
Meg's MF pads
A little M105 mixed in on some deeper swirls
