I had the AC guy come to the office today to do a Spring checkup and cleaning. I went up on the roof with him and everything looked good except accumnulated dirt to be cleaned out. I gave him the go ahead and he finished everything in about an hour.

When I walked out to get in my car to go to lunch, I found it covered in white, chalky looking spots (like dried white water spots). I live about 5 miles from the office, so I drove home, put on my grub clothes and proceded to wash it as quickly as possible.
Used Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo, followed by blower and MF towels to dry. Most of the spots washed off; however, the hood was still covered with them (probably due to the extra heat from the engine). I tried some Meguiar's Quick Detailer, but it didn't help. I then grabbed a bottle of Meguiar's Cleaner wax, which thankfully did the job.
The hood was just repainted 2 months ago and had a good coat of Powerlock and SSII, and I had fears that whatever had coated the car would eat through the sealant and wax. Sad part is I spent the better part of last weekend getting the car in top shape. Close call.

:eek:I run into the same fears as I'm walking by the windows at work just to look outside and see the lawn guys getting ready to trim the grass next to my car.
