Nissan GT-R 28hr paint correction - Immaculate Reflections

Nice work . I don't see how someone could neglect a car that beautiful that bad .

Remarkable turn around! Fantastic job, keep up that awesome talent!

Nice save! It's amazing what body shops let slide sometimes. Holograms are one thing but that caked on over spray is beyond lazy by them.

Were you able to determine what the brown marks had been caused by. It almost looks like a caustic chemical was allowed to puddle on the paint and then just left to dry.
But it looks like you were able to remove them and restore the finish to as new.

I think that if it were my car I would be printing this thread out and taking it, along with the invoice for the correction, to small claim court. The car's owner should never have his car returned to him in that condition by a body shop.

Man you need to Opti-Guard that to lock in all that hard work. Looks so nice after you got done. Amazing how trashed it was in the beginning.

Man! That rear deck looked "Dukes of Hazzard" for sure!

Great turn around! :D

It make me sad to see this car in such bad condition, anyways you did a WONDERFUL AWESOME JOB!!! Can you tell me the product that was used?

Looks fantastic!

I am curious how do you charge on a detail like this-do you tell the client it is going to be an hourly charge or do you quote a price for the entire job estimating it will take you 3 days of hard work?

Thanks

Your custumer must be really happy! Great work! How did you correct the overspray?

Also interested to hear, PM me if you don't feel comfortable. On a job like that I'd tell them a high ball park hour's figure but charge an hourly rate based on how long it takes me, and always try to charge them less than the estimate. I'm a rookie on the business end of it though. I do full corrections for peanuts for friends mostly, enough $ for new pads/ compound, and then let them take me out on there tab. I really should try to focus more of my attention on marketing corrections though.

It surprise me how the owner can take the car home with over spray like that. I would've brought in a couple of bamboos and go bamboolitics on that shop. No way any shop can return a car in that messed up shape. Great job on your end though.

Great job! I have seen that kind of damage that you couldnt clay off from lime dripping from the concrete in parking garages mostly underground, if it sits(owner on vacation or something) it can cause some pretty bad staining/etching.
