I will be doing my first GTR and I was wondering in the interior is there any special products needed for the dash? I have Meg#40 and Also optimum protectant plus (not impressed by it). Also the interior has the suede/alcantara. HOW do I go about cleaning that? I have seen a youtube with the AMMO guy using his "shag" product but I do not have time to order it. Would purple power be okay around 15:1 dilution? I am not to worried about the correction on the outside it is just the delicate interior I am worried about.

Thank you!

Do not use purple power or any all purpose cleaner on the alcantara use a fabric cleaner and follow the ammo guys tips they work well.

Any suggestions on good fabric cleaners?

Meg's or mothers would work from your local parts store to get you by. Ammo makes great stuff but super expensive if your using them customers cars

Ultima products are good as well, I work mostly with Europeans on a daily basis and any suede/alcantara interior that needs a clean up at the shop is with ultima or Meg`s. Share some pictures!!!

I have one that I wash every Thursday and am so terrified of chemicals marring the interior that I use water on a micro to get dust and etcetera off. There's also PPF on the hood, front bumper, mirrors and a pillars (a nissan installed option) so it could be there for you also.

I have alacantra steering wheel and seat inserts in my Shelby, water with a MF or terry cloth works great.

I think you guys are over thinking it. I do a few GTRs and never had a problem with the interiors. I use a multi at 12:1ish wipe everything. Then go back around with #40 rubber vinyl conditioner, it's the only one I use on everything, even on leather it drys to a nice matte finish not shiny and greasy looking like other conditioners do.
