During the course of last week I got a call from my local Nissan dealership to go and restore a set of lights for them on a Nissan Micra that came in for a service. When I got to the car I immediately got excited as I knew that this was one of the worst looking sets I ever got to work on
opcorn:
Before
The passenger side light wasn't THAT bad
I sanded down the light, ranging from 600 up to 3000 gritt sanding paper, polished it twice with my machine ( compounding followed by polish ) and then lastly I sealed it up with my own mixture of UV coating. It's hard to believe telling from pictures, but after a year of doing this, I am still getting better and better with each set that I restore
After
Comparison
Fortunately I was packing up my stuff as the client of the vehicle arrived to fetch it. The client couldn't believe that it was the very same set of lights and couldn't stop thanking me for the work I have done
