Hey all,

A family member of mine has asked me how he can get his door moldings back to normal, and what the best option would be. I'm not sure if this is something you would be able to replace from buying from the factory, detailing, or just having to repaint. The Murano has super low mileage, is a one owner vehicle, but he takes it through cheap car washes, which has embedded DEEP swirls in his paint and caused this damage to his door moldings. Please let me know what you think.

Yep, done. Replacing the plastic covers with the Weathertech wind deflectors could prove to a pain

Wow I think that's toast unfortunately

That is what I figured as well. I happened to find some websites that sell the window trim in its OEM "shiny black" color online, however, I'm not sure how I remove the old trim to replace it with the new ones.

You could just wrap it with vinyl - it will be reasonably cheap and you don't need to worry about removing anything
