Detail #2 this week was another fun one and more special in part because there are car-peeps out there like my friend Howard who pick up cool cars like this for their wives. He shared that his better half always wanted a fun little Z Car like this and they hunted around for not just any Z but one finished in the more difficult-to-find Daytona Blue Metallic. This one IIRC is a 2007 model with some tasteful mods including some newer wheels, tires, and a GREAT Sounding exhaust that was just begging to "shine"
The goal here was to clean it up and get that blue to really shine and knock down if not remove as many of the imperfections possible while maintaining the integrity of its nearly 18-year-old finish. With that since it isn't going to be a heavy-use daily driver, we opted for my Basic Polish and Protect including a 12-18 month Ceramic which has served Howard well on his black Supra I completed just over 3 years ago. How time flies by! The Nissan here also features a polish and ceramic on the glass and wheels too.
Many thanks to both Howard and his wife for their continued trust in my work.
Polished with Flex 3401 and Rupes Nano Long neck using GYEON PRIMER then sealed up with two layers of GYEON CanCoat EVO.
