Are they any good??? i see most people recommending 105/205 a lot.

3M makes good stuff. It is what I started with back in the early 90's and all I used until the last couple years.

so do u recommend any products??? which ones cuts more, finishes better, break down fast and dust less

I still have some 3M swirl mark remover for dark cars, 3M swirl mark remover for light cars, 3M Imperial hand glaze and an old version of 3M rubbing compound (I don't know the official name, the lettering has worn off of the bottle) I use the SMR's on occasion and the IHG on a "show car" for friend of mine.

I like IHG a lot... buffing can be a ##### but the result is a balance between traditional and modern glaze..deep and not too blingy

Ultrafina is a great finishing product...Swirl free on any paint..If you're using rotary and that hologram doesn't go away use Ultrafina..

3M pads are the easiest for use with rotary polisher.. The waffle design reduces drag/skip greatly

3M backing plate...many members here swear by it

I like 3M products the problem with them is they are not quite as effective as some of the other stuff out there now...

Ultrafina is great from what I have heard but I have yet to try it out...

I love their rotary pads they work great! Although I don't tend to use rotary much any more as the DA and the polishes that are out there for them tend to work amazing and there is little to no issues with burn through...

3M doesnt get much love at all. I guess because it not a boutique product.

Their perfromance finish is FANTASTIC!
