Just ordered the Metabo. Hope to have it and Edge 2K wave 8" pads for my Sunday detail.

Bam!!! Man has spoken!!!

Good for you Whitethunder, post pictures when you receive it....please.

I'm sure you will enjoy your new baby/toy. Looking forward on you using it and posting your thoughts ont he Metabo....oh and I'm interested to hear what your thoughts are ont he 8inch pads too.

since I use my rotary once every blue moon, I am holding out to see what the Ultimate Detailing Machine has to offer. To many products never being reused out in garage, cannot get the same way with tools. (no room)

I agree! I have a cheap rotary just in case but hopefully the UDM will be the best of both worlds. Plus I thought I read on another forum that David is going to have some kind of trade/buy back for the PC. Hopefully this can be implemented with resellers like AG also.

I read somewhere that the edge 2k pads have been tested with the UDM and approved by David.

I agree with Killrwheels. I was thinking about getting the Metabo but have decided to hold out for the new PC machine. If it's anything like they say it is, it's additional power and other features may fill the bill for all the needs I have now or in the future while still offering the safety of being a random orbital machine.

Megan told me it is scheduled to be sold starting on June first with no pre orders being taken at this time. Of course everything would depend on the arrival of the units at the expected time to their warehouse.
