Hey folks,

is there a surface prep spray other than Meguiars Final Inspection (M34) that is good to use before waxing the car. I mean a detailer that doesnt contain any wax or polymers.

thanks

Griot's makes a pre-wax cleaner. It's meant to be used to remove polishing residue before LSP is applied. Car-Pro makes Eraser which is great but more expensive then the Griot's.

Thanks a lot for your input. the CapPro Eraser is exactly what I was looking for, I was not aware of such product. Will give it a shot. Thanks !

Eraser is great stuff, careful cuz you may wanna drink it lol!

Can the CarPro Eraser harm the clearcoat on the long run or its safe to use a few times a year ?

GTechniq Panel Wipe is my favorite. Due to cost I turn to IPA most of the time.

Are there any "polymers" in Eraser?

From Eraser MSDS:

Are you saying that M34 doesn't have any "polymers"?
(It probably does):

Note:
Nowadays...
It's going to be difficult to find much of anything
That doesn't have some kind of polymers in it!

not sure if M34 does have polymers but it says bodyshop safe and paintable. Was assuming it didn't have
