FK 425 is great. I like QDs. I think a lot of people have stopped using them and use waterless washes like Ultima Waterless Wash in there place. While that is a great product, I still prefer a good QD when its appropriate.

Appropriate to me means the paint is pretty clean, like washed, garaged, and not driven yet, or after a wash to add gloss or as a drying aid. IMO if you get into the habit of always wiping your car down with QDs when its a little dirty, you end up with marring and scratching. Waterless washes are better for that.

Some QDs like Prima Slick, FK 425, , & Optimum ID just are great to use. Then there are spray waxes.... A whole other topic.

The 8' banks of T8 lights in my garage. If you can't see what you are doing, the rest doesn't matter. I can work out of the sun in comfort, without sacrificing light.

8' banks of T5 HO lights in my garage. My garage is brighter than a friggin' movie studio!!
Oh, and CarPro Orange Peel Removal Pads. I'd be in a mental institution without them!

My Daytona wheel brushes.

I am a wheel woolie fan but still like my Daytona brushes. The nice thing is you only need ONE size rather than 2 or 3 woolies and they rinse clean very easily.

I bought all 3 Woolies and find them almost useless for wheels, at least for my 2 cars. The big one is too big for anything, the small one is too small. The medium one is OK for barrels, but you can't bend it to get behind anything any the cleaning surface is too small.

However, I like them for other stuff. The big one I use for wheel wells, the medium one for running boards, and the little one to clean out my vacuum. They are also not a bad bottle brush.

I don't get all the props. Daytona brushes are much more useful IMO. You can bend them to get all over behind stuff, and the cleaning surface collapses to fit in tight spaces.

optimum no rinse wash & wax works well, not quite as slick as DG 931 IMO but still a great product overall...
