Noob already pwned by this forum....

If I'm not mistaken someone explained to me the history of the word pwned. I've been told its from the online game ultima online. They would "own" someone and try to type it so fast they would mistype it as pwned since O and P are next to each other and it's become an online staple since then. Sorry probably more info than anyone cared about....

Thank you though for the information on the hardness of the Audi paint. I was going to detail my inlawz car but my wife's mini cooper s transmission crapped out and she made me take her for test drives for new cars all weekend.

I have the menzerna SIP super gloss and I ordered the 85rd on amazon... but I got Micro Finish with no model number and I can't locate wth it is online.... ANYONE KNOW WHAT MENZERNA MICRO FINISH IS?

I have the menzerna and both 105 and 205. I should get something else as well? I mean I will try what I have when I get started but if #### doesn't work out I would like options!!!

I got this chart from the Menzerna Site and as Doug pointed there's one listed as Micro Polish.

You mentioned that someone mailed you Micro Finish; was it a sample size in a separate container and possibly mislabeled?

I checked my Menzerna stock and I have Power Finish and Micro Polish but no Micro Finish...

Its a 32 size bottle so doesn't seem to be a sample. Also the company is swearing its 85rd... but its listed grit on the bottle is 2500 so that doesn't match up with 85rd... gonna give menzerna a call today in the afternoon.

I think there is a product 85rd 3.0. Which is something completely different from PO85rd that we all refer to. Menzerna Power Finish PO 85 RD 3.02 I think the names were changed

If that's a sample size then you got the winning prize! :props:

The name may have changed as Doug said. I was also looking at the grit rating.

PO85RD according to their chart removes up to 3000 sanding grit. So you're right, the grit on your bottle is 2500 so I agree with you, it's not PO85RD. I'm wondering if the bottle of product you have is the older version of Micro Polish PO87MC?

They also could have changed this but what color is inside your bottle. Menzerna Micro Polish PO87MC is listed as gray.

Just throwing out a few ideas that might help...

Its white... ish grey..? More on the white side?

I'm wondering is you took a couple of photos of the labeling on the bottle and sent them to Menzerna for identification.

If it does have some gray to it maybe shaking the heck out of it will mix the contents thoroughly. Some times I've had to empty a portion of the contents out to make room so that it'll mix, then pour the rest in and finish mixing.

I've also had to pour some out and insert a 1/4" wooden dowel because the bottom of the bottle was thick and needed some persuasion. Eventually it was all in suspension and back to normal.

I've found that many products separate over time and must be really mixed to work properly.

Just got off the phone with menzerna USA they are telling me its 85rd that the menzerna factory had some labeling issues on some of their products. Ill take a picture of it when I get home
