Hi to all,

Im Erik, I am 23 and have been into cars since i could ride in one. I started off with a 72 Malibu 350/ TH350 when i was 15. It had 63K on the clock and had been pasted down from my grand father that I lost to cancer. I put several hrs of work into the body and had it repainteD the factory red and did away with the white vinal top. I signed the car off to my dad when i was 17 and purchased my 1995 Z. I cant start to tell you the number of hours i've spent turning a wrench on it. My DD is a Fuel sipping Ford Fusion SEL......NOT THE BEST PURCHASE IVE MADE. But it gets me around.

Anyway. I spent a few years in high school doing prep and finish work at a local body shop. Spent most of my time there with a sanding block in my hand and dust in my eyes, nose, ears, mouth and ....well you get it.

here's my baby..

Hi Eric, welcome to Atuogeek Online!

Sorry for your loss. A 1972 Malibu is a nice car, do you miss it?

Motor looks sweet!

Did you assemble it yourself?

:welcome:

Welcome to AG!

That's a nice Z - I had a black '94.

I built the LT1 yes, It is a 355 with ARP studed mains . Eagle H I beams with Forged 2cc Flat tops, total seal file fit plasma ring and has been decked. The heads are 56cc Stock casting with alot of runner and bowl work by Lloyd Elliot out of RedOak, TX. (also 2.02/ 1.59s)

Comp 234/242 on 595/595 on a 112 and full roller. Made 411/407 thru a Spooled 9" and a T56.

Also had a 150 shot for a back up.....:D

The malibu is still there when my dad will pass it back down. It has had new floors and a trunk pan since i turned it over. Trying to talk the old man into a LS6 and a 4L60.
