What's going on everyone? I've been looking thru this site for the last few weeks and finally decided to register! :xyxthumbs:

I know next to nothing about detailing but would like to learn for both my car/family cars and to possibly start up a side business this summer. I drive a black 5 speed 2009 Honda Accord Coupe (I4). :awesome:

:welcome: Really nice car. The new Accord deserves more attention than it gets. Is yours a V6? I read that the V6 runs a high 13 second 1/4 mile. You should post more pics of the car on here. Wow, I really got side tracked there for a minute thinking about cars. Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Yea, I love it man! I had been waiting for this particular model to debut! Unfortunately, it's not a V6, only an I4..

My car is all stock, so it's not really that exciting to look at lol My avatar is my car, but it's all photoshop.. (lip kit, wheels, drop) :D Although I would like it to look like that eventually!

You know next to nothing about detailing? Didn't I see that Honda at Nick's detailing day? We learned about the PC, FLEX, and rotary buffer, proper way to clay a car and wet sanding.... Mike Phillips was at the event to answer any questions we may have had.

mattwax, very true sir! I was there for Nick's detailing day, I guess what I meant to say is that I have no experience with anything. I learned a HELL of a lot that day, but in my opinion, until you try the different tools, products, and/or techniques at least once, you still don't know much. Does that make sense? lol

Mattwax and Clutch34,it was great to meet you guys and the rest of the people at Nick's. A lot of great guys and info offered on here. :props: Paul S

I was giving you a hard time, I'm in the same boat as you. I had/have no experience with a rotary buffer or wet sanding. Was amazing to see how much technique and patience wet into using those wool pads and wet sanding.

Have a good weekend Clutch!
