Hello All!

I'm beginning my detailing education and garnering A LOT of info from this forum - from all of you and like to say thanks.

I'm looking to get into detailing full-time and hopefully it'll work out. Completed the first project - my truck - and will post assessment of the materials used. Did quite a bit of research here and still need a ways to go but feel confident given all the professionals sharing information here.

Again, thanks and look forward to learning and sharing with you all.

One thing I can say is practice practice practice. Get all the training in you can and read as much as possible. Two key things that will help you along is getting Mikes book A Complete Guide to a Show Car Shine and
Renny Doyle's book how to start a home based detailing business.

Will definitely pick these books up - thanks! I'm ultimately looking to get into the production side of detailing (B2B for dealerships and body shops, etc.) but I need/want to learn all aspects of detailing. Wouldn't want a question/request I couldn't answer or perform and I want to have a "complete" knowledge and understanding of detailing in order to perform accordingly.

Thanks all for the welcome. :)
