In a few days I am planning on doing my first detail using my PC 7424. I am going to be using my sisters old caprice as the guinea pig. I have some Wolfgang TSR. I will be using 4-inch pads with it. I have tried reading and searching and pretty much fried my brain doing so.

It seems that TSR is pad dependent, as if I use an orange pad with it, I will get more cut/correction, than using a white pad. Is this correct?
I want to find out how to use it correctly so next time when I go after my truck with it, I won't screw it up.

Also, would NXT work as a topper for it? Money is tight at the moment and I have some laying around the garage.

Thnaks.

Yes, you will get more cut with the orange pad than a white pad. You'll want to follow with a finishing polish such as WG Finishing Glaze with a gray finishing pad. NXT will work fine as a topper.
