I just recently discovered this site, and so far its great! Ive been trying to take care of my car exterior for about 5 years now, and to tell you the truth, its really hard to do when every one you talk to keeps telling you wrong information. For example, I year back I went to autozone to find some polish to get rid of some water spots. Since i didn't know anything about products (and up to date still don't) I asked one of the guys there, whom claimed he knew about detailing, which product he recommend. "you might want to wax those water spots out instead." That's what he said. I was shocked, so i just left. Up to date I know the basics of wash/clay/wax. I currently bought a new Hyundai sonata which has some light minor swirls which I'm planning on removing. Also, I just purchased the porta cable DA, a few more pads, MF, and wolfgang total swirl remover and finishing glaze (fine polish) Anyways, sorry for the long intro. Looks like i have some reading and catching up to do.
