I know what you mean sohc808. Killr works really close to wear I live and I one of these days he's going to leave work for the day and find that C6 GONE!! And then you'll see a hot police pursuit down I75! BUHAHAHAHAHHA

BTW here's that link to Meguiar's. There are a couple of different vidoes there. Enjoy. And watch those PC videos! They're REALLY good! I watched them for months when I was saving up for my PC. They inspire me so much! Blk Yukon really did an outstanding job on them. :) Enjoy.

Hey. Thank you very much. People here are reallly friendly. :) Thanks again.

I'm thinking a trip to help sohc808 detail his car is in order! I've always wanted to visit Hawaii!

Seriously, you can learn a lot for the folks on this board. Everyone is very helpful.

I don't think anyone answered your question about using the paint cleaner. I wish I knew so I could advise but I have no idea. I've not used a paint cleaner.

Yeah..I'm liking that idea.:D I think after I wash I'll use the pc with white pad and wolfgang glaze to dehaze,micro-mar. Remembering to work the glaze and then try my souveran paste, Hopefully it'll work. If not I'll start the process over with SSR2.5, WG paint cleaner, WG finishing glaze, WGSealant topped with souveran paste. But hopefully I won't have to do it over. Thanks

Yes, I agree with you on the 2.5 as for the finishing polish tho, I didn't think I had to work the polish also. So this saturday I plan on correcting my mistakes. After I wash my car can I go straight to the wolfgang glaze or do I have to use the wolfgang paint cleaner first? and then the glaze.

Thanks for the help...

I've never used WG finishing glaze first hand so I cannot comment from personal experience on the strength of it. That said, I want to say that you SHOULD be able to just use the glaze with the PC and that should remove what you have on, but without having used it personally I feel like I should err on the side of caution and tell you that you should probably use the paint cleaner first to remove the wax and then use the glaze. Hopefully somebody with a better answer who has used it will chime in on this one. Killr?

Okay guys and girls. I Saturday nite I washed my car and wipped her down with rubbing alcohal. Sunday morning took out the pc and wolfgang glaze with white pad, and :righton: that it came out great. Worked the galze in and it removed the haze and micro-marring. The car looks soooo much better now. topped it with soveran paste and drool, total wettness. Sorry no pics as I still don't own a digital camera. Thanks for the help........:applause:

Alcohol  I thought Dawn soap was enough to do the trick??

Ha,Ha...Yeah, It sounds kind of funny. I did alot of searching on that one to. Try this search: Isopropyl alcohol. I diluted the alcohol with water and sprayed it on a mf sponge applicator. Applied to one panel at a time, no drips no mess. Figured I'd give it a shot.:)

And you did right too sohc808. Alcohol/water will remove the wax without damaging the paint. I would do that rather than the Dawn wash too. :) I'm glad it came out so nice for you. You and me gotta stop spending so much money on detailing products and get a digital camera. :)

 I know what you mean. I tried megs, mothers, turtle wax platinum, etc. etc. and threw em' away. Now I have a carftsman cabinet full of pinnicle,dp, and wolfgang products along with mf towels, applicators etc, etc. It's amazing how much money you spend on detailing supplies but it sure beats paying someone else to do it for you. As for the camera theres just to much out there. Buy the time you buy one, the next week it becomes obsolete. Rather save my money and buy more products :D . Thanks again.

LOL Yeah it's a labor of love and the allure of finding the best combo keeps me coming back for more. I love it though! I love going out there and playing with all the different products and experimenting with the combos and PBMA makes such A-W-E-S-O-M-E stuff. I want to be buried with my jar of Souveran. ;)

Tell me about it. That jar of souveran is the most expensive wax I've evered owned. Maybe I'll try the wolfgang sealant and top her off with souveran next. BTW what is PBMA? I think you you'll want to be buried with (jars) of souveran, Cause I don't think you have just one. :righton: Oh! btw what combos do like the best. The only combos I tried was the AIO,SG,and liquid souveran and max wax with liquid souveran.

I stand corrected....thanks for the updated technique.

PBMA= Palm Beach Motoring Accessories. They own this website and the lines that Killr mentioned.

So far UPP or WG DGPS topped with Souveran, but I'll be trying out some new combos this week so I'll get back to you. :)

I bought a seperate hose for "blowing" only for my shop vac (easy guys!).
I love using it to get the water out of cracks and such.

Justin,

Quick question. I have a Craftsman shop vac that also doubles as a 200mph blower. Do you use it as a vac and blower? I was nervous about using it for both due to the possibility of dust (from inside the canister) getting blown out onto the car.

Is that possible? I didn't try it and was too nervous to.

Dang woman, I had to go back and search for abbreviations. Good thing I found it, Had to print it out. :D Ha,Ha. I'm gonna give the WG DGPS with Souveran a try next. But I kind of don't like waiting for the curring process of the sealants tho, 12 hours is a long time.
