Noobs first try on headlight restoration

Just reread this thread and was wondering if you used any sort of UV sealer like me. I use a 50/50 mix of spar urethane and mineral spirits, like the headlight sealand thread on this site says. It works great for me, maybe you could give it a try if you haven't already.

I did read that thread and was curious to try it, but haven't yet. I thought the liquid glass would hold up very well. He can always reapply that. I will pass the suggestion on and see if he wants to try it. I am always a little nervous about mixing things and then applying it the first time. I will let you know if I ever get to it!

There is no problem mixing these two together so give it a try. Makes the lights so much nicer plus adds some UV protection. Remember to apply with the Scotts Blue shop towels and you shouldn't have any problems. If you get any runs or drips, just re-wipe across the whole lense until they go away.

i did some very hazzy headlights on my friend car with m105/wool, he needed a sanding step but i dont have any so...anyway it came out great, no more haze and covered it with plastix.

M105 work awsome on anything i tried yet
