Northern Virginia team detail anyone?

Can somebody PM me the details?

I'm in Frederick, MD, and I am planning on attending. I do not have many tools or products (yet, some are in the mail), but even just to hang out for the day sounds fun.
 
I'm just bringing everything I own lol I'm too lazy to go through it and pick stuff out. Well, except for BFWD paint sealant because I dropped it and broke the cap so I can't transport it.

I believe, and please correct if wrong, but we for sure have sn0w's mustang, plus one other car that Jake has lined up. Other than that it's whatever we have time/energy for once those have been sorted... :)

-Dodge Charger I have lined up for a friend.

Then whatever we have time for. I have a test panel (fender) off an Acura Integra with Black paint.

Hey Guys,
I have a conflict as to where I'm supposed to be this weekend(thanks to my wife) so I will not be able to make it up.

I know your trying to get a head count,so I wanted to let you know.
 
Is this thread going to continue after the meet or should we set up some sort of NoVa page so we can do things like this more often? I'm debating whether I want to drive all that way with a healthy chance of rain in the forecast and leave by noon (as I can't stay any longer than that). I would be going more to learn from the more experienced and pick up tips more so than contribute any sort of knowledge. If I do come, it would be in a my BRZ or my friend's Legacy GT.

I was thinking the same. I remember bringing up to the mods about having a regional section for the forum.

If you miss this, I'm sure they'll be more opportunities. I'm hoping this could be a monthly thing where we pick a weekend to all hang out and detail.
 
I'm all packed for this weekend. I probably overpacked with products, but probably am missing something essential... :P

haha, we'll probably be more than covered but i figured I'd try to contribute..

Also brought a few samples of stuff to trade away, plus a full size 32 dp rinseless wash to trade away.

Can't complain, except we'll hold off on the beers until we're done with the work for obvious reasons. Don't want to get a DUI from the detail police. #corny lol.

No problem Richard. Was looking forward to meeting you, maybe next time.


For those of you driving 3+ hours out, check out the traffic and keep an eye out for weather throughout the route. I don't want you all driving a long distance to get screwed by the chance of t-storms. We have the garage to all be under so we can try to handle a car in there.

Most important of all, drive safe. Keep me updated with phone calls or texts if need be.

So how did it turn out? Naturally it was a picture perfect day in Stafford despite the call for rain. I got some of my own detailing in though with some new products. I hope the turnout was good!
