I'm there (Hoping it's earlier in the day/afternoon). I'm down with grillin and chillen.
I'll bring Rupes 15 and system, maybe portable generator if anyone wants to try? and Rigid WD4070 if anyone wants to try? If so i'll bring them
I have a pot of BF MS.any paste waxes to try? believe it or not, i've been a sealant/liquid wax man most of my detailing life.. so i've not used any paste waxes that have come out this century :/
I guess ease of application wins out.:buffing:
Here's a link to my album since I got pissed trying to upload a ton of shots multiple times and they failed. so. here it is.

I can't truly capture all the damage thats been done to it as its all over the car.. and I mean all over from pillars, roof, spoiler... anywhere you looks there are swirls and chips and dings and blah...
wow....![]()
yea.. kinda wished i spent the money to fix it instead of pocketing it after the accidents but can't do anything about it now but move forward with good techniques and probably get it resprayed at some point. the hood and fenders need it for sure.. i think the bumper will buff out
crazy thing is I somehow still get compliments on the car.. i'm assuming its just because its a mustang but its not even a gt :/ i just shake my head because i know how bad it is
oh yea, got a couple glass chips as well - very tiny but just spotted this past weekend
Repainted panels, scratches, scuffs, rids, etchings, egged-paint fracturing, chips, oxidized and weathered trim, etc...
Why not go for broke...I'm in.
edit: Any signs of CC failure, and, or flaking paint? SS repairs?
If sn0w is cool with it, I'm going H.A.M on that paint.
If we could turn that baby around, it would make the before & afters so dramatic.
still excited.![]()
so do you all have a time and place for this. I am trying to go.
After reading Bills thread, http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/41661-trashed-trailblazer.html , and seeing the resurrection many months later ~ still looking pristine...I too am stoked to be part of this project.
I'm interested in this get together as well. I just PCS'd to Fort Belvoir near DC! I have a 9227 and a GG6 but I think the tools are pretty much covered.... however I just ordered a dupray tosca steamer if anyone wants to play with steam?
