Not me, personally. But I will be bringing an assortment from the OPT line, 1-9227, 1 PC, 1 or two older 849's.
I can contribute $$$ also.

I'm going to need you to school me on those rotaries.

Maybe we can also swap/sell stuff? I have a few things I would like to unload/trade

Sounds like a plan. I would post up what you have to gauge interest.

I'd love to come but business is going pretty good right now and I work any chance I get . So if I can make it . It will be last minute . Hey and if you still need help on the logo send me what you have so far . Ill help you out .

No problem. Hope it booms for ya. You are always welcome anytime.

Watch a few videos and peruse a few threads beforehand. I'm good for tips and pointers, but sometimes lacking in their conveyance, and woefully short of patience.

Hopefully Becciasm, rwright, and others are more adept in this area.

Looking forward to this event and meeting fellow partisans of the craft. :buffing:

Props for organizing and hosting this meet. :props:

More adept in which area? I'm hoping you'd school me as well on the rotary as well :) Patience, sure, i can spare that. :)

:iagree:

I'm going to bring the vintage craftsman polisher, http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...s-high-speed-polisher/61206-vintage-find.html, for show only. i don't have a way to attach the 5/8" thread backing plates to the 7/16" spindle.. yet.. :) I figure it would be of use when tackling large areas of metal to polish... I can bring a stainless Keg that I plan on polishing to use as a brew pot if ppl want to experiment with metal polishing. :xyxthumbs:

I'll have some stuff to bring/trade, but I don't have much that others don't have... ? :) I've got a few things (non-AG) - Car-Brite Black Pearl polishing/sealing line *please don't ban me* that i'd be willing to sample out. I've not used it yet, but it's 5 products - heavy compounding through sealant. Got it through a co-worker.

I'm mostly going to be there to learn and share and have a good time.

Speaking with 'she that must be obeyed' :P, it has been determined that the last weekend in June is the best weekend for me. Family obligations and weekend projects, as well as a work trip to Denver occupy the rest of my month.. my July is wide open...

What about demo vehicles/panels JSou?

Hey JSOU I am up in Mass so I can't come but how do you feel about the rupes 21?

I will bring these two adaptors with me if you think they'll work. If not the tell me whether m/f, thread spacing configuration, and I'll have one made up this week in S.C. and mailed to Md...crappy pic.

I believe that kegs are aluminum. 2-3 hours just in polishing. Sanding steps are the time eaters.

I'm as happy as a antelope with night vision goggles.

* Big payweek ~ most I've seen in a while in my checking acc't. Picked up two interior house painting jobs yesterday. One to be completed by Fri. pm.
*Daughter's college grad ceremony/dinner Saturday. Sunday, full size p/u detail in Roanoke.
*Opportunity to meet AG buddy from Oh.
*Local meet coming together. Display al. polishing skills one mo 'gin. Im the MAN
Kinda makes up for the cold, wet winter.
I'll drive my Sebring, no room for panels from my end; but not needing attention either.

If I'm off, and you'll have me, I'll come down from PA. I don't know anyone who details here. Everything I learned is through this forum.

Too bad its not next week, I have like 8 days off from work and not a single thing to do but detail my car everyday.

Absolutely.

And not all kegs are aluminum. The sheer weight if nothing else tells me the one I have is steel. Either way, it's going to be good. Ill see about taking some shots of the keg to get stamping marks to tell the material for sure. :)

Thank you sir! I actually have been learning a few tips from my mentor. I feel that you could never have enough knowledge.

What about demo vehicles/panels JSou?

Let's see if I can go to a local junker and pick a few panels up. I have about 3 cars we could work on but the garage is only big enough to fit one and I don't have the greatest lighting to work with either, just a couple of two lamp halogens that stand up. To be honest, I don't even have much.

Hey JSOU I am up in Mass so I can't come but how do you feel about the rupes 21?

I think it is a great machine. Smooth and light. I still won't get rid of my GG6 though.

I wish I had that much time! Of course you're welcome, the more the merrier. I need some help with technique.
