Northern Virginia team detail anyone?

If next weekend still works for the majority I'll keep the 16th as the date. I would like to get some people as I think this would be a great challenge for alot of us newer folks to gain some knowledge. I think I have it covered as far as supplies but i'm open to any options, especially on the headliner!

Let me know those that are interested which weekend works best, this weekend (9th) or next weekend the (16th). I'm thinking about a 9 am start time and the address is 24643 Nettle Mill Sq. Aldie VA. There is ample guest parking right down the street from my house and I have an oversized 2 car garage. I currently only have 3 extension cords but figure that should cover it.

Looking forward to it, hopefully I can be as good of a host as JSOU has been.

Trying to follow along and see if I could come down again and learn from you guys. I'm subscribed, and spur of the moment too so who knows, I may be up for another road trip if I'm welcome and schedule permits.:props:

I am having detailing withdrawal fellas!!! Seriously, all I get to see is dirty as #3*& cars. I've been on the forums a bunch though im fortunate to have internet in my office even if it is only like 1MB/s download haha. Anyway, keep on keepin on with those meets I will definitely be tryin to get back in the mix when I return this thread is makin me jealous!

Man have you seen the leaked photos on car and driver the 360 view? Pretty nice not a lot different but more curvy and def has the aston marton front end treatment goin on. I read a few places the GT will be bumped up to 500HP as well so I may sit on it until that happens or wait till an SVT is released. I bought an 02 GT and should have waited for the cobra....then I bought an 05 Jeep grand cherokee....shoulda waited for the SRT....dont want to make that mistake a 3rd time!!!

Hey jake. Basically your polisher of choice a few pads and a few mf cloths. It's always nice to have a few extra.

Product wise I think pretty good. As always though if you have anything you would like to try out bring it along.
 
Hopefully by next season, we should have more tools and products to work with. See you soon Jeremy!
 
Won't be able to make it this time around due to prior responsibilities I almost forgot about. Will keep my eye on this thread and try another time.

I was eyeing the Dynabrade Head that can change from orbital to forced rotation Flex style. I know Tuscarora likes his even though it wasnt the switching one and its cheaper then a flex with a bigger throw ( I want to say its like 19mm on the Dynabrade head) not quite a Rupes but with that throw and forced rotation it should be a beast so hopefully i'll have that to share when I get back. I'm definitly thinkin hard about tryin all of the new black label stuff as well but I'm sure most of you guys will have tried it before I get back anyway.

My jeep has minor swirls it hasnt been polished for over a year but the rock chips are what kills me and I think I may try the Dr. Colorchip road rash kit, so anyone lookin to try their hand with that would be more than welcome when I get back.

Not sure if I can make it. I need to get some wax laid down on the wife's car. I also want to see if I can get that reflect to work or if it's just me. Her ride is basically a damn minivan so I'm looking at a few hours.
 
I have a tentative vehicle scheduled for saturday, doesn't look good at this point.
