Hello everyone!
I have been detailing for over 15 years. Started out in custom paint shops, and eventually got enough time under my belt to get a spray gun in my hand. Due to a rotator cuff injury, I don't paint anymore, but I have been detailing as a side gig all these years.
Evidently, I am one of the few guys trained in a bodyshop with a rotary buffer, that can polish a car without butchering it. I have seen some pictures of bodyshop work that makes my skin crawl.
I have never had a complaint about my work, but have realized that the technology available to me is definitely worth learning about and using in my quest to turn this from a side gig to a full time business.
I am looking into a DA polisher for an upcoming job that has me a little nervous, but I will post another thread with all those questions in a different section.
Great site! Looking forward to spending lots of time here.
