but you should also know that there are people from the manufacturers that do also look at these sites to see whats going on... autogeek can also use the forum to show their manufacturers how products are being accepted.

I appreciate that the issue was posted and don't understand those that believe product issues should remain unspoken on the forum. It's good to know about potential issues that occur.

However, I would suggest a better title for the thread such as "Spot Buff Backing Plate Came Apart" instead of just "Not Happy".

Of course I wouldn't use the forum as an avenue to contact customer service. Although it worked in this case, a call was still required to resolve the matter. Posting it is still good in the spirit of sharing information.

Now, if this item was purchased for commercial use, should have had a backup. That's why car's have spare tires (or run flats)
