Not Robin Williams

I think the show was called "The Crazy Ones" I watched it a couple times and chuckled. He made $165,000 per episode from what I read. They had about 20 episodes I believe.

He was married and divorced 3 times, so that probably took a majority of his film profits away, like you noted.

Still crazy, he was filming Mrs Doubtfire 2. Sucks we won't see more funny.

I can relate to that.......is a shame.

Robin was a very funny person, who put his talents to use, amusing most of us.

It's a shame on his death........he will be missed, but also he WILL be remembered.

Two of the funniest men ever (IMO)...Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams.

Irony (sadly) is that both had 'demons' to contend with in much the same way.

It is a true loss. It is always disturbing that we find out ex post facto that he was/has been dealing with some inner demons and felt that this was a way out. I only hope he knew how much joy he brought to public.

Dr. Drew Pinsky was interviewed on a podcast about a day afterwards. His clinical opinion is that Robin would have some other illness that wasn't publicly known and that would also be a contributory factor. Sure enough, we find out that Robin was in the early stages with Parkinsons disease.

It is a shame that many entertainers that we find talented and funny also privately deal with such inner pain.

If any good can come out of something like this is, it does bring mental illness' to the forefront. The more people are aware, the more they realize it's a much bigger 'thing' than they knew.

Not just the mental aspect, but all illness'...look how much money was raised for ALS research in the past week. Just my getting the 'big people' to douse themselves with ice water. As "Martha" would say, "That's a good thing."
